What is your starting price?
I love to know who or what is most important to you at your wedding. I find what makes a wedding special is the natural interactions that occur between friends, family and the couple. I spend wedding days constantly searching for those little moments and my aim is to give you a set of images that tell a story so you can remember your day as it unfolded for years to come. I prefer to work this way rather than staging a predetermined list of moments.
Can I give you a list of photos to capture?
I do! I hold both Canadian and British Passports which gives me access to quite a few countries. If I can't shoot in your country, then I have a worldwide network of friends who are photographers and I can hopefully refer someone who does.
Do you photograph destination weddings?
For most weddings, I typically work by myself. I have documented over 500 weddings on my own and I don’t feel that a second photographer is usually necessary. However, I have a list of very talented second photographers in Ontario & Nova Scotia should you require one.
Do you work with a second photographer?
I would love for you to be able to look through a set of images that tell the story of your wedding day without being distracted by awkward in-between shots. For that reason, I do not provide you with every image I shoot. I will often have duplicate photos on either side of the perfect moment. I also occasionally take a photo that’s just terrible, so I’ll leave those out! What I do provide is a set of edited high-resolution files. Each file has been fine-tuned to a level that I am proud to give you.
Do you provide every image you photograph?
I’m a candid documentary photographer. I love beautiful light and gentle moments. I try to remain as unobtrusive as possible but I’m very much there to help if we can’t find one of your siblings during family portraits on your wedding day!
