Eric and Claudia had their wedding at Claudia’s family cottage on the shores of the Bay of Fundy, just outside St Andrew’s, New Brunswick. St Andrew’s is special to Claudia as it was the place she spent her childhood. She always dreamed of having her wedding there one day. I can see why—it was an incredible place to capture wedding photos.
They got ready for their wedding separately and with their respective friends inside the cottage. The cottage was full of old world charm, with ornate floral wallpaper, loads of natural light and many family heirlooms. The ceremony was held on the vast lawn of the cottage. They were surrounded by mature trees and had the Bay Of Fundy as a stunning backdrop. Following the ceremony, the reception was held nearby in a marquee in front of the cottage. The following is a set of some of my favourite candid wedding photographs taken throughout the day. It was very hard to narrow it down just these as it was an eventful day with so many wonderful interaction between their family and friends.
This was the first time that I had been to St Andrew’s and the first that I have photographed a wedding in New Brunswick. I was amazed at how beautiful it is. Watching the tide come in and out of the Bay Of Fundy throughout the wedding day was an incredible experience. We were also lucky to have the most perfect East Coast summer day.
