Farm at South Cove Wedding

This Farm at South Cove Wedding was fun to photograph. Maddie and Ryan got married on a warm July day on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. I’ve photographed many weddings at the farm at South Cove and always love to see what different couples choose to do with the space. Shanna of Details Event & Design Studio did an incredible job transforming the space.

Maddie and Ryan wanted a timeless feel to their wedding photos, so I photographed this wedding on a mix of different cameras, both film and digital. Some of these photos were created using a 75-year-old lens. I love the nostalgic feel it adds to the images.

The bride had two wedding dresses—her party dress was the dress her Mother was married in. She had it shortened and tailored for her wedding which was such a nice way to include something old and borrowed.
