We couldn’t have asked for a better day to a sailboat elopement. The mist lifted and the water was calm, with just the right amount of wind to catch the bride’s veil. The light was beautiful as it reflected off the water and the boat, creating rich colours for this couple’s wedding. As a wedding photographer, I love going on adventures with couples on Nova Scotia’s rugged coast. Whether it’s on a sailboat, in the forest or on the edge of a cliff, I’d love to come along on your wedding day.
I primarily shoot documentary wedding and elopement photography, capturing people in their natural element. My emphasis is always on the love and interaction between a couple, and their friends and families. As my client, you will receive a final set of images that tells a story with all of the candid moments from your wedding day. My aim is to keep the wedding photography process as relaxed as possible. I encourage you to be yourself, so that when you look back on the images in many years from now, they will feel natural and unscripted.
In 2021, I moved to Nova Scotia’s South Shore, just outside of Halifax. For the past 10 years, wedding photography has been my full-time career. I’ve shot over 250 candid weddings around the world, from intimate elopements to multi-day weddings in large event venues. If you’re looking to have any kind of wedding or celebration of love in Nova Scotia, I’d love to connect. I am especially looking forward to photographing more sailboat elopements.
Please reach out to me here if you have any questions about my work. If you’d like to see more of my work and follow along with my weddings you can connect with me via Instagram. In the meantime, if you’d like to see weddings I’ve photographed that have an East Coast feel, you might like this wedding here or alternatively this one.
